I thought you might want to know this. So, yes, while I could make up this Homekeeping Card File in a day with the plain white index cards I have on hand and the nondescript plastic index card box I already have…. I was going through an old box of books that should have been donated eons ago when I came across this book and spent the next hour reading it instead of taking said box of books to be donated. I had very few opinions of my own. It holds the information you need and makes it easy to find and grab. I read this because of the other domestic systems that sprang from it -- FlyLady, among others. My children came one right after the other, and I very soon found myself out of my depth. Very approachable tone and very encouraging. I liked the idea of knowing scheduling not only weekly chores, but monthly and yearly. As a priority, it has to be completed the next time it comes up. It means I've started using my SHE task cards again.

Two sisters, in the late 70's, figured out a system using index cards that helped them and many others to get organized and keep a neater house. It really was just a funny title. It was an index card organization system. I personally don't have this but you can find it anywhere online and print it out.
