Edit: I guess this thread does not help ya? Using the oil press sending unit? So somebody who is redoing their oil. Line sticky already on the forum? Makes sense with everything being shared. I've included a photo which should help. I put my tank bungs into the outer walls of the tank where the lines should connect but without having to use the internal standpipes. The lines on a lot of stock tanks all plumb into the bottom BUT, the return and vent lines have internal standpipes so the vent and return dump into the air space at the top of the tank above the oil. That'll be the line to run to cooler/ filter and back to the tank. Somebody needs to do the following. I won't be getting to it for a while. Which of the three fittings is the return, feed, and which one is the vent? Location: boston, ma.
79 Ironhead oil line routing??????????? Everything else I could get pics now for them. All spin on filters receive dirty oil on the outside and deliver filtered oil out the center. Hook up your feed line to the pump fitting and kick the motor over till oil comes out the return fitting. Bag for the XL build i am doing. There is at least one I know.
