Survived by her husband, John Gennetten, and five children, Joseph, Albert, John, Alvin and Ernest, all residing at the family home. Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Gordon and Frances Shelley Gordon; two sisters; and father and mother-in-law, Orville Meachum, July 31, 2000, and Christine Fife Meachum in 1978. Garson was a lifelong resident of Pueblo and before his retirement worked as a self-employed accountant. Preceded in death by his adored wife, Stella Gonzales. During his career, he became Dean of Education at Central Washington University and after retirement at Heritage College, writing four college textbooks during this time.

He is survived by his children, Dr. L. Gant, Howard (Pat) Gant and Suesan Froman; his sister, Ida Mae Mavrin; brother-in-law, Raymond (Peg) Elliott; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Shrine of St. Therese parish and had been employed at the Pueblo Army Depot and the Pueblo County Clerk's office. 1 serving at Trinidad High School as a teacher, coach and finally, an administrator. George worked in construction as a union carpenter until his retirement in 1965. Two stepdaughters, Gerri DeCoteau-Bohm of Hermiston, Ore., and Jill Winter of Salt Lake City; a stepson, Todd Hilderbrand of Casper; a sister, Pat Freeman of Austin, Texas; a brother, Paul of Hot Sulphur Springs, Colo. ; and seven grandchildren. After that he worked for Wright Brothers Carnival for 30 years, retiring in 1990 and returning to Walsenburg. 251, passed away Sept. 23, 1987. John was born and raised in Central New York, and moved to Pueblo in 1979. She devoted her life to her late husband, raising her children and spending time with her many grandchildren.
